Today I went to the Urban League and met my new mentor. While there I also helped sort, orginize, and input data for the Urban Leagues golden pyramid scholarship. While there I met with my other mentor from Heartland and set up our next volunteer date. I volunteered from 3:00-5:45

Today I mest at the Urban League from 4-6 where I was with Dr. Iset. While I was with her I turned in the notes that I had been assigned to type up and give to her. Today I also sat in on her meeting with heartland and was introduced to the staff within the meeting.

Today during school everyone was either gone for volunteership or on a field trip, except for a hand full of seniors. Since I did not volunteer during the school day, my mentor Dr. Iset had scheduled a meeting with me for 4:00. I headed straight there after school and arrived at the Urban League to find out that she was in a meeting. She came out and had me sit in a meeting with her untill they were nearly done. Today we discussed my progress on my work once again and we left out around 6:00.

Today I met with Dr. Iset at the urban league once again where she wanted to discuss my progress on the retyping of her notes. We discussed my progress and also discussed futuer assignments she wants me to begin working on when I complete my notes.

Today I met with my mentor Dr. Iset who also discussed her plans for me as her new intern. We also discussed eachothers intrests, so that she could understand what I was most intrested in while interning for her. Along with this she also provided me with my first assignment. My assignment is to retype her notes for her, so she will have them on file. I met with Dr.Iset from 4:30-6:00pm.

Today I met with Tiffany Harrison to discuss what I will be working on with the Urban League and my goals for volunteership this semester. We also discussed the dates I would be avalible and the days I wont be. She also gave me my volunteer papers that I needed to return to the Urban League and signed mine for class. We met from 4:00-5:00pm.

Volunteership

I am looking forward to volunteering with Urban League San Diego this semester. This is a non-profit organization located in southeast San Diego that helps create grants, and awards for outstanding achievements. I Along with this, I was also thinking about attending Teen Lobby Day as well.
